TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Nature and Scope of the Services Provided

  • House of Memoriez Photography shall provide photography services to the Client for any event(s), according to the job description and specifications provided by the Client.
  • The Client shall provide an accurate, detailed, and comprehensive brief about the nature and scope of the services required from the Photographer, either directly or through an authorized agent.

Travel and Accommodation

  • Travel and accommodation costs for shoots outside Chennai city limit will be borne by the client.
  • Three-star and above air-conditioned private accommodation must be provided by the client for all crew members
  • Travel charges apply for locations 10-15km away from the studio location

Specifications and Details

  • The Photographer will have complete creative control during photography and post-processing.
  • Every effort will be made to capture requested images, but specific photographs/videos cannot be guaranteed.
  • The Photographer will not edit physical appearances beyond minor skin blemishes.

Event Details Communication

  • The client agrees to provide event details at least 15 days in advance.
  • Failure to provide timely details may affect the quality of services provided.

Event Guide

  • The client is responsible for identifying desired photographs and gathering subjects for the same.

Outdoor Couple Shoot

  • Outdoor couple shoots are limited to Chennai city limits, Monday to Saturday, and non-blackout dates.
  • Additional charges apply for shoots in resorts or other venues requiring photography fees.

Pre-Wedding Terms

  1. To avail the complimentary pre-wedding photoshoot, a minimum of 50% of the total booking amount must be paid in advance.
  2. The pre-wedding shoot must be scheduled between 30 to 45 days from the event date ( Wedding Date )
  3. Clients must confirm their pre-wedding shoot date at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure availability.
  4. Any additional costs such as travel, entry fees, venue charges, props, or makeup services will be borne by the client.
  5. House of Memoriez Photography is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to Traffic, force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
  6. Clients are expected to maintain appropriate conduct during the shoot. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of the session without any refund.
  7. House of Memoriez Photography is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or dissatisfaction arising from venue-related issues during the shoot.
  8. Any additional photo editing or reels requested later or not mentioned in the original invoice will be charged additionally.

Post-Wedding Terms

  1. The post-wedding shoot must be completed within 30 days from the event date.
  2. A minimum of 90% of the total payment must be completed to avail the shoot.
  3. Only one rescheduling of the shoot is allowed.
  4. The shoot date should be informed at least one week in advance.
  5. If the client cancels the shoot or if the 30-day period expires, the shoot will be cancelled.
  6. If the client requests the shoot after the 30-day period, an additional charge of ₹10,000 will apply.
  7. Any additional costs such as travel, entry fees, venue charges, props, or makeup services will be borne by the client.
  8. House of Memoriez Photography is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to Traffic, force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
  9. Clients are expected to maintain appropriate conduct during the shoot. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of the session without any refund.
  10. House of Memoriez Photography is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or dissatisfaction arising from venue-related issues during the shoot.
  11. Any additional photo editing or reels requested later or not mentioned in the original invoice will be charged additionally.

Helicam or Drone / Aerial Photography or Aerial Cinematography

  • Clients must obtain necessary permissions for aerial services and provide a scanned copy to the photographer at least one week before the event.

Code of Conduct

  • Client or associated persons must not hinder the Photographer’s performance.
  • Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.

Disclaimers & Loss of Data

  • House of Memoriez Photography is not liable for data loss due to technical failure.
  • Force Majeure events may affect service delivery.

General Release and Waiver of Claims

  • The client releases House of Memoriez Photography from all claims arising from the agreement.

Sessions/Sections

  • A single session is up to five hours.
  • Different packages apply to various types of weddings.

Payments

  • Payment terms include 70% advance, 20% on the event day, and 10% before delivery of deliverables.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds are provided once payment is made, except in exceptional circumstances.
  • House of Memoriez Photography will return full payments if unable to perform services due to reasons beyond its control.

Photos, Albums, Videos, and Films – Timelines for Delivery

  • Raw pictures will be delivered within 5-7 working days.
  • Color correction and album design timelines vary.

Number of Iterations/Modifications

  • Limited iterations are allowed for album design and video editing.

Additional Charges for Color Correcting Extra Pictures

  • Additional fees apply for processing extra pictures beyond the package.

WE ARE UNIQUE

  • Exclusive photography service without the presence of other photographers.

Additional Terms (Lighting)

  • House of Memoriez Photography is not liable for any lighting-related accidents, such as bulb bursts or wire firing due to high wattage.

Additional Terms (Traditional Videography)

  • Traditional videography refers to old-style videos with left to right pans or zooms.
  • House of Memoriez Photography offers candid-based traditional videos as an alternative to traditional videography.
